Passport Information Receptionist:
Training for this job will be given by the librarians at the CM/Donald Dungan Library.
Hours are: (all in 2-hour shifts)
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
2:45pm to 6:45pm,
Saturday
10:00AM to 2:00PM
Passport Photo Photographers:
One of the most fun volunteer opportunities we have is taking photographs of people who are applying for passports.
We have a digital camera that takes beautiful pictures and is very easy to use. We provide training and handholding as necessary. Our photographers get to talk to people about the fascinating places they intend to visit.
Currently available in two-hour shifts:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
3:00PM to 7:00PM
Saturday
10:00am — 2pm
Publicity Writer
This person would write and distribute all publicity items for the Friends of the Costa Mesa Libraries.
Special events coordinator:
We have a wonderful opportunity for someone who likes to coordinate special events, which we only have occasionally because they are so special!
Board members:
Help set policy for the Friends and carry out specific assignments.
Committee members:
Committees work as teams on specific projects.
